| Sen. Specter:
Your "inquiry" of the New England Patriots' taping of opponents proves, to me, that apparently, the Senate has nothing better to do. Although I am hundreds of miles away from your constituents, and therefore, probably mean absolutely nothing to you, I implore you....LET IT GO. It is not, nor has it ever been, Congress' responsibility to investigate professional or amateur sports. If you are truly that bored, then be my guest to dig into the NFL. Our nation's economy is struggling, people are losing their homes, and our soldiers are dying in Iraq. If you TRULY think that the New England Patriots are more important than that above issues, then continue with your ill-gotten "investigation". I hope, for the sake of our nation, that REAL issues, issues that impact every member of our society, should be at the forefront of your thought process. If they are not, well, I feel sorry for not only the people of Pennsylvania whom elected you, but feel sorry for our nation as a whole, as our own Senators care more about football rather than the people they serve.
Sincerely, a humble American,
Adam R. Chappelle

| So I get my W-2's back today....I go to file online, and all of a sudden, for the first time ever, I have to pay the federal government EXTRA beyond what they already took out of my paychecks. WTF? I called the IRS and asked them why I had to pay them more, and upon further review, and I quote the IRS lady, "you made too much money to get a refund this year." ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!? Gotta love that....as soon as you become successful, the government takes away your money. To recap: the American dream is to become rich, independently wealthy, and be successful. Until the government steps in and says that you're TOO successful, so you have to pay them for BEING successful. If this is an American dream, then wake me up, because it sucks.

| OK, I'm bringing the blog back. My first and main topic: the San Diego Chargers. You're talking shit after losing to the Pats by 24 in the regular season, much less in the playoffs last season?!? Are you crazy or just freakin' brain dead?!? Pittsburgh SS Anthony Smith decided to guarantee a win....and got burned twice (personally) in the game. OK, Igor Olshansky...get ready for the Pats to run the ball right at you on Sunday. Moron.
On a side note, I am now the proud owner and CEO of my own business, "Through The Times Music", based in Homewood, IL. I have left the corporate and sales world and gone into business for myself, so we'll see how that works out. That being said, after 2+ days in business, I LOVE IT. I missed waking up in the morning loving my job and looking forward to going to work, but now, I have that feeling back again. Yay!

| Has it really been a month since I updated? Geez....well, there's still nothing new at all to say. I was a little off on my NHL predictions, but not that far off. On a happier note, ITS BASEBALL SEASON, BITCHES!!! So we were looking at getting tickets for Friday....and then we saw it's supposed to be 26 degrees with winds off the lake. Fuuucckkk that. I won't sit in that weather for ANY sporting event. Thats all for now. GO CUBBIES!! GO RED SOX!!
